Annual Charity Game

UNFORTUNATELY THIS EVENT WILL NOT BE RUN IN 2015

The Annual Charity game is always played on the 2nd Saturday in August.

  • SERIES TALLY:  The Seahawks lead the Series 2-1.
 HISTORY OF THE CHARITY GAME

2012 – The Raiders were approached by the Sutherland Seahawks to play in a Charity game to raise money for  Sophie Hall who is the daughter of Seahawks Player Mike Hall. Sophie was diagnosed with a rare illness that would require constant medical care. The Raiders gladly accepted the Honour and the Annual Raiders vs Seahawks Annual Charity Game was born. The Event was a huge success  and the Charity game raised over $3000 for the Sophie Hall family Trust.

2014 – The Seahawks chose to support the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation and raised $3204.70.  For the first time since the charity event commenced the Raiders defeated Seahawks 23-20. For more information about this charity please go to: http://www.schf.org.au/home.aspx
