This coming Saturday, 19 November 2016, the Gridiron NSW Finals Series commences. The UNSW Raiders Men have finished the regular season with a 8-2 record placing them in 3rd place on the league ladder. This Saturday they will be doing battle in the Preliminary Final against the Northwestern Predators (#6). The match kicks off at 6.00pm at Lidcombe Oval, Lidcombe. The winner of this match will move into the Semi-Finals
This weekend was the final round of the Gridiron NSW regular season – Round 11. The UNSW Raiders played host to 4 matches for our final games at home. It ended up being a scorchingly hot day at David Phillips and the football was exciting! First up for the Raiders were our Women who kicked off against the NorthWestern Phoenix at 11.00am. This weekend the UNSW Raiders travelled to Robert Ziems Park in Corrimal to be hosted by the Wollongong Mustangs and Brumbies. First up for the UNSW Raiders were our colts who kicked off against the Wollongong Brumbies at 1pm. The colts did well in the 1st half scoring 2 Touchdowns however went into the half time break down 26-14. In the 2nd half boys played hard and came back into the match.
