This Saturday saw a HUGE weekend of football at the UNSW David Phillips Sports fields as we hosted our HOMECOMING for 2015.   We had BBQ, drinks and merchandise on sale throughout the day and our brand new scoreboard was installed and operational for this game!

The day commenced at 12 noon with RGA Youth Gridiron Academy playing their first exhibition matches for the year.  The boys aged 7 – 14 years showed their parents what they had been learning and had a fabulous time putting their skills and drills to the test!  The boys will participate in “FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS” this Friday 30 October 2015 for some more game time action!  Thanks to Bring it on Sports Directors, Paul and Elissa Manera, for assisting with this fabulous program.

UNSW Raiders Women kicked off against the Newcastle Cobras at 4pm.  Our ladies had a fabulous game defeating the Cobras 40-16 given them a 4-0 record for the season.  Watch the highlights of the game here:

At 6pm the UNSW Raiders men kicked off against the Newcastle Cobras.  The guys fought hard and made some awesome plays to defeat the Cobras 49-14 giving them a 3-3 record for the season.  Watch the highlights of the game here:

Both the Men and Women formed a tunnel to welcome each other to the field prior to their games which added great atmosphere to the day!  You can watch the fun here:

The UNSW Raiders would like to thank their members, players, fans and the parents of the RGA for contributing to a successful Homecoming.
